Next Energy Geothermal harnesses ‘free’ energy from the ground with huge energy savings of up to 75%, with the associated reductions in heating bills. |

Geothermal is totally renewable with minimal impact on the environment. Geothermal heating is in step with the times and in tune with nature – it’s a ‘green’ technology that works with the environment and not against it. Geothermal systems burn no fossil fuels and emit no green house gases. |

Geothermal Heating is proven, reliable and safe. Whilst relatively new to New Zealand, Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP) have been around for many years. In general terms the New Zealand climate is mild compared to North American and Scandinavian countries where these products originated. The technology is similar to that used in air-conditioning and refrigeration industries all over the world. The refrigerant used complies with the very latest European Standards and norms. There is no boiler or fuel tank, no combustion or explosive gas, no flue or ventilation. |

There is growing pressure on governments to stimulate the market to choose eco friendly heating solutions. As a founding member of NZHWA (New Zealand Hot Water Association) Next Energy are at the forefront of establishing test methods and best practice procedures alongside government agencies to enable the inclusion of this exciting technology into the grants schemes. Next Energy has completed a Geothermal System at an Invercargill aged care facility that is being monitored by EECA (Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority). |

In effect, as the owner of your land, you become the owner of your own energy source which future proofs you against the escalating costs of power. |

Geothermal heating adds capital value to your property and makes it a more attractive resale proposition. |

Geothermal heating is a simple system and as there are few moving parts it is highly reliable and requires minimal maintenance. The parts also have a long life expectancy but are easily replaceable if required. |
